Mission Statement
To inspire and enrich through my knowledge and passion for dance and the performing arts.
Dance and the performing arts have and will always be an important element in my life. Since my parents first enrolled me in ballet classes at the age of eight, I have gone through an incredible journey of enlightenment where I experienced firsthand the countless values and opportunities the performing arts awards students of all ages. I have made it my life’s work to educate and motivate people to increase their involvement with the arts to better their overall wellbeing. No matter what level of student, I tirelessly try to draw a gratifying connection to dance through my light-hearted personality where they leave feeling accomplished. For dancers who are serious about their training and are aspiring to become a refined performing artist, I exercise and demand the discipline and keen intellect needed to be successful.
My teaching style has developed into a balance of clinical teaching methods mixed with my own personal alterations. I make sure that every class is catered to all types of learners and has the right amount of encouragement and discipline. My syllabus heavily follows the Cecchetti method of classical ballet technique, but also correlates the Vagonova and French methods as well. I teach mainly using positive reinforcement, not only because it is my natural teaching preference, but because it enhances creativity and passion for dance. I fully believe that dance classes are a beautiful, creative method of expression and communication that is ever-changing and evolving.
